Item originated in Canora School. It consists of the monthly reports completed by the principal listing the teachers, the number of pupils enrolled in each class, number of teaching days, aggregate days attended, number of times the teacher was late, the number of fire drills in the month, and the average time it took to evacuate the school. Also included are reports for the Department of Education on the Enrolment for October 1962 distributed by sex, grade and age.

Item originated in Canora School. It is the daily schedule of Anne Strain's Grade I class for November 1961 to June 1962. It is broken down by subject matter and objectives. Included are student grades, book order lists, the names of students who purchased class photographs and school crests, and memorandum to teachers and principals regarding school prayer, corporal punishment, leave of absence due to pregnancy, requisitions, report cards, and the City of Edmonton Planetarium.

Director of Technical Education

Item is a file containing letters from individuals applying for the position of Director of Technical Education. Includes letter of successful applicant, W. L. Richardson. A more accurate description of the position is Principal of Edmonton Technical School. All letters are re-typed copies.

Item is a document pertaining to the formula used to calculate the amount of time principals should be in the classroom and the use of relieving teachers to take over their classroom work. It lists the schools, their principals, and the amount of time that a relieving teacher would have to provide in 1927-1928 compared to 1926-1927. It appears to be written by the Superintendent of Schools.

Item is a booklet of carbon copies of transfer slips. These are the slips of students who left McQueen school and each slip includes the date, the student's name, age, grade, address, attendance during the present month, and the school to which the student is going. Each slip is signed by the teacher and principal.

Reports outline: Edmonton Public Schools philosophy, educational accomplishments, goals, and principals' perspective, summary of 1970-71 activities of the main Divisions. Created to demonstrate accountability to the Provincial Government Education department in accordance with the School Act.

Item consists of worksheets made by Edmonton Public Schools and completed by Elementary Principals. Worksheets requested: space availability for Early Education and Inner City School Programs, ideas to create attractive schools and issues to be addressed, specifically staffing. Associate Superintendent Educational Administration, Dr. Hohol, directed the Task Force. Participating schools were: Central, Delton, Donald Ross, Eastwood, McCauley, McDougall, North Edmonton, Norwood, Oliver, Parkdale, Riverdale, Rutherford, and Alex Taylor.

Item consists of two identical reports. They include the philosophy, educational accomplishments, and future goals of Edmonton Public Schools. They also include a ranking of goals by principals and a summary of 1970-71 activities and accomplishments. The final draft of this report became the 1970-71 Annual Report.

Item is a newsletter initiated by Superintendent Rolland Jones out of a concern to meet a communication need for matters of specific concern to Principals. The newsletters were issued as required with no fixed date of issue. Later known as the Superintendent's Memo : to School Adminsitrators after Rolland Jones resigned.
