The second page from Poll Book is the vote on the formation of the proposed North Edmonton School District. It includes date and times of poll and name of voters and if they are for or against the district. Item also contains information from the Alberta Department of Education about instructions regarding the formation of school districts, school groups and buildings, treasurer's bond, and debenture proceedings.

Item is a list of statements for 1910. The first statement is regarding permission for the West Edmonton School District No. 2320 to collect property taxes previously collected by the Turnip Lake School District No. 386 within the newly incorporated village of West Edmonton. West Edmonton School District No. 2320 was established on November 25, 1910. The remaining statements list the expenditures, liabilities and assets for the West Edmonton School District No. 2320 for the year 1910.

Although chiefly financial and staffing issues, opening of new schools, amalgamation with Edmonton School District No. 7, Inspector's Reports, correspondence with University of Alberta, Association of School Trustees of Alberta and Department of Education is also included. Of note is a letter from Lieutenant Governor Bulyea regarding the opening of Strathcona Collegiate Institute. Compiled by the Secretary-Treasurer, files are arranged chronologically. Correspondence of a related subject often glued together. The top document reflects the chronological date within the file but often much earlier documents are attached.

Item is a group of contracts including By-Laws regarding the borrowing of money, sale of land contracts, contracts with contractors and architects. Item is not complete. Only the Duggan Street School and Strathcona Collegiate Institute are mentioned although the transfer of land from J. Alexander Cameron Rutherford is included.

Strathcona School District No. 216

Edmonton Bulletin : Vol VIII, June 4, 1887, No. 31

Item is a newspaper covering local news, with some international and national items. Three stories are of note. The first is the Edmonton School closing for the summer on May 31st so the teacher, Mr. Martin, could meet his arriving family in Calgary. Second, is the voting on the creation of East Edmonton School District. Third, is the promotion examinations held in the public school on May 26, 27. The names of the children are included as are the arithmetic examination questions for standards four and five.

The Edmonton Public Schools

Series consists of bulletins modeled after the publication, The Kansas City Schools, that were first issued in Jan 1949. The EPSB Annual Report 1949 refers to the new publication as a bulletin. This series begins with the second issue in Mar 1949. With the exception of 1949 and 1955, two bulletins were printed each school year, one in the fall and one in the winter. Each issue included a message from the Superintendent and information about the school district. The final bulletin was issued in Feb 1961 after which it was removed from the budget at the Board’s request.

Assessment Roll : Edmonton Protestant School District

Item is the property tax assessment roll for Edmonton. Each entry includes the name of the property occupant and their religion, sex, age, occupation and place of residence; the name of owner and their religion, sex, age, occupation and place of residence; and the number of lots taxable denoted by district, block, township and range. Information was used to collect taxes, which funded the school district. The official name of the district was Edmonton Protestant Public School District No. 7.
