Item is memoranda distributed to a wider administrative audience than its predecessor. Consequently, the name was shortened to Superintendent's Memo. Item reflects the time period 19 Feb 1973 to 07 Jun 1973. Some memoranda within these records have enclosures.

Item is memoranda and enclosures sent to Principals from the Superintendent of Schools. The memoranda were directives for the Principals, and the enclosures were passed on to all their staff. This was the primary communication vehicle between the Superintendent and the Principals.

Series consists of documents from the Superintendent of Schools for the Edmonton Public School Board Trustees. The memoranda provided information about schools, students, staff, buildings, departments, curriculum changes, grievances, press releases and meetings. Appendices are included, but not all are on file.
