Series contains reports given by the Edmonton Public Schools Superintendent to the Board of Trustees pertaining to the administration of Edmonton Public Schools. These reports present information, enquiries and recommendations. This series also contains reports and information presented to the Superintendent by committees, school officials and outside agencies. The subject matter in the reports varies, but most information relates to expenditures and budget. The Superintendents responsible for the reports are James McCaig (1906-1913), W.L. Richardson (Acting Nov-Dec 1913), W.G. Carpenter (1914-1923), George A. McKee (1924-1940) and Ross S. Sheppard (1940-1955).

Turner (EPSB Secretary-Treasurer), James MacDonald (EPSB Trustee). Mr. Aitken and Mr. Rae hold the cornerstone box [time capsule], and Mr. MacDonald holds the document found in the cornerstone box.
