Item is a newspaper. Some international and national items are included but it is mainly concerned with local news. Of note is an article stating that J. St. G. Jellett has retired from the store business at Clover Bar. St. George Jellett was the School Board Secretary-Treasurer 1893-1908.

Item is a newspaper covering local news, with some international and national items. Three stories are of note. The first is the Edmonton School closing for the summer on May 31st so the teacher, Mr. Martin, could meet his arriving family in Calgary. Second, is the voting on the creation of East Edmonton School District. Third, is the promotion examinations held in the public school on May 26, 27. The names of the children are included as are the arithmetic examination questions for standards four and five.

Subjects include the purchasing of supplies, complaints about night students, debentures received, the hiring of staff, the purchasing of a school site and teacher agreements.

Series reflects administrative activities of Strathcona School District No. 216. Although chiefly financial and staffing issues, opening of new schools, amalgamation with Edmonton School District No. 7, Inspector's Reports, correspondence with University of Alberta, Association of School Trustees of Alberta and Department of Education is also included. Of note is a letter from Lieutenant Governor Bulyea regarding the opening of Strathcona Collegiate Institute. Compiled by the Secretary-Treasurer, files are arranged chronologically. Correspondence of a related subject often glued together. The top document reflects the chronological date within the file but often much earlier documents are attached.

The Library List is a list of books. pages worn and loose from binding. Reference copy available for consultation. Dates for Requisition Book are 1908-1909 - 1911-1912. Date for Library List unknown.

Item contains correspondence written and maintained by A.T. Mode, Secretary-Treasurer of Strathcona School District No. 216. Subjects addressed include plans for the new Collegiate Institute, hiring teachers, tenders, debentures, re-opening date of school, letters to papers regarding advertisements, paying for plumbing and piano tuning, auditing books, requesting catalogues, a loan from the bank and leasing a school to the University of Alberta. Letters are numbered and an alphabetical index is included.

Item is a booklet containing reports on tournaments and sports in Edmonton Public Schools played in 1928. It also includes Edmonton High and Public School Sports Records, 1908-1928 inclusive.

Item consists of Heating and Ventilating Specs for two schools not yet built. One school would be located on Block 7, 8 (HBR), which was bordered by 107 and 108 Streets, the Legislature and Jasper Avenue. The second would be located on one of the Hudsons Bay Additions.

Item contains correspondence and two pages from Poll Book. The first page from Poll Book lists candidates nominated for position of Trustee and date and hours of polls. The second page from Poll Book is the vote on the formation of the proposed North Edmonton School District. It includes date and times of poll and name of voters and if they are for or against the district. Item also contains information from the Alberta Department of Education about instructions regarding the formation of school districts, school groups and buildings, treasurer's bond, and debenture proceedings.

Item is a booklet handmade by Harriet E. Inkster listing attendees of the Nov 1911 Teachers' Convention. Harriet Inkster taught in Edinglassie School District No. 1973 in 1911. She began teaching with EPS in 1922.

Item is a notebook used to record substitute teachers at King Edward School. Each entry includes the date, the name of the substitute teacher, the name of the absent teacher, and the length of absence. Some entries include the reason for the absence. At the back of the notebook are supply lists, a list of students and their misdemeanors, and a seating plan. Pages are brittle and loose from binding.
